Monte Chiaro’s ArteLiquida: Where Art Meets Wine

At Montechiaro, art is part of everyday life — from painting and sculpture to photography — just as Nature is the essence of our organic wines.

Our historic Limonaia is not only a winery space, but also a stage for classical music concerts and art exhibitions. This same creative spirit lives in our tasting room, where we strive to offer something truly unique — a fitting tribute to wines that are themselves bold, expressive, and exceptional.

Now available: the ArteLiquida 12-bottle box, a curated mix of:

  • 6 bottles of ArteLiquida Red (100% Malvasia Nera)
  • 6 bottles of Supertuscan White Blend

Each bottle features a hand-painted label by artist Eugenia Vanni, making it not just a wine to enjoy — but a conversation piece, a centerpiece, a small work of art.

Art to admire. Art to drink.

A new ArteLiquida release is coming soon — stay tuned!

It brings out bright cherry and red berry notes
It’s ultra-refreshing without losing elegance
Even skeptics who “don’t drink red in summer” will be surprised

Pro tip: Pair it with grilled dishes, summer salads, or a classic margherita pizza.
Give it a try and tell us what you think — #ChillChianti!

Montechiaro White Supertuscan - Arteliquida 2024 × 6

Ships after June 23rd

Arteliquida is a one-of-a-kind project that brings together art and wine to visually represent the many aspects of the world of wine while highlighting both content and artistic expression. This unique Super Tuscan white wine blends rare grape varieties, including Trebbiano, Malvasia Bianca, French Viognier, and the rare Manzoni (RieslingxPinot Bianco), connecting Tuscan heritage with the wider world. Each grape variety contributes to the wine's unique character: Trebbiano forms the backbone, Malvasia offers body, Viognier brings perfume and roundness, and Manzoni provides the aromatic profile. The label is a reinterpretation of the traditional bottle and glass concept, with the two intertwined in a single shape that appears as both an emptying bottle and a refilling glass. Arteliquida is truly a masterpiece that blends wine and art.

Montechiaro Arteliquida Rosso 2019 × 6

Arteliquida is a project where art and wine meet, emphasizing wine research (with the contents) as much as the artistic expression (with the container). Arteliquida Rosso joins the single-vineyard rare Malvasia Nera, with the contemporary artwork by Eugenia Vanni, where a mosaic moon represents the mysterious and unbreakable link between nature and man, symbolizing the legendary knowledge about the moon phases' influence in the winemaking process.  Our small cru enhances the varietal characteristics of Tempranillo, in Tuscany known as Malvasia Nera, which here presents a unique freshness and minerality typical of the Chianti terroir.

GRAPE VARIETY: Malvasia Nera 100% (Tempranillo)
