Can I purchase wine for someone else?

We cannot not sell alcohol to persons under the age of 21. By using this site you swear and affirm that you are over the age of 21 and by using this site you are acknowledging that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from us is over the age of 21. You also agree that any alcohol purchased from us is intended for personal consumption and not for resale. If you intentionally or unintentionally misrepresent your age in order to provide alcohol to a person under the age of 21 you will commit a crime.

Delivery

What courier do you use for deliveries?

We use UPS and Fedex to send all of our orders. Please note that neither of these 2 carriers will make appointments, and generally they do not deliver on the weekends. BOTH carriers will however, hold your package at their facilities if you find more convenient than waiting at home

How long does delivery take?

After the order is placed it generally takes between 2 to7 working days depending on where you live and which warehouse the wine is processed. You should receive a notification when your shipment is received by the carrier (Fedex or UPS) detailing the tracking number and an ESTIMATED delivery date.

How much is delivery?

Wine is heavy so it is expensive to ship. As it involved a signature, that adds a cost as well. What is important to note is that 12 bottles (1 case) is the most cost efficient size. Wine shipping costs are not linear.

Can I track my item?

Yes. You will be sent a confirmation email as soon as your order has been processed. After the order leaves the warehouse you will receive another email with your tracking number.

Do you deliver to my country?

We currently cannot ship outside the USA.

What if I have a problem with my order?

Our merchants take great care to ensure that your product arrives undamaged. However, accidents do occur. If you believe your shipment is damaged. If your wine has been damaged in transit please notify us at CustServ@WineVIP.com within 3 days of receipt.

I ordered the wrong product.

We will not be responsible for any incorrect orders placed by the customer. Any incorrect orders that are processed and shipped will be subject to a 20% restocking fee, as well as shipping charges back to us if you want to return the item(s). The prices for wine can fluctuate greatly from day to day, because of this we do not accept returns for wines based on price changes within the marketplace. Returned merchandise must be in the same condition you received it, unopened and in its original packaging.

I entered the wrong address

If your package has been labeled and processed to ship and you want to change the ship to address, we can “redirect” your package for a small fee. Both shipping services charge us for redirecting. To avoid a redirect fee, you can have the shipment held at the Fedex/UPS location closest to you and swing by at your convenience to pick it up.

How do I return an item?

To return an item you first need to contact us so we can find the best way to arrange a return.

Legal restrictions may apply for refunds on wines shipped to certain states. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Need to change my shipping Address

We will do our best to accommodate shipping-address changes within 24  hours of your order being placed. There may be additional costs associated with shipping-address changes requested after this time period.
