About Solà Raventós

Already in 1898 Solà Raventós was dedicated to the elaboration of wines in the estate “Maset de la Verdera”, and it was in 1925 when the first bottles of cava were made.

Since 1987, it has become a personal project of Pere, who, together with his wife, makes the dream come true of making cava the way we understand and love. Since 2018 his son Guifré accompanies them on the journey.

More than 100 years putting all our effort in the elaboration of a cava of great quality linking tradition and innovation!

Winemaking

Nowadays, at Solà Raventós we produce a small production of about 20,000 bottles, we put maximum care in each part of the process to ensure their excellence. The cellar is managed by Pere and Guifré, a micro-production of 2 people!

Within the slogan of “the aging cava” our cavas have between 2 years and 5 years of aging time, key factor to achieve their excellence, character and elegance.

Cava Premium Reserva of second year, a blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada in Brut. A fresh, tasty and very refreshing cava!

Gastronomy: Lemon yellow color with abundant small bubbles that form a clear crown. Good intensity of fresh and fruity aromas with predominantly white fruits. Avery tasty and refreshing cava.

Varietals: 50% Monastrell 30% Pinot Noir 20% Trepat

Cava Premium Reserva of second year, a blend made with Monastrell, Pinot Noir and to a lesser extent, Trepat. For a surprising pairing!

Gastronomy: Half carbonic maceration that gives it an intense and bright cherry color, with a fine and light bubble in a marked crown. Good intensity of fruity aromas, pleasant to the palate with predominantly red fruits, pastry and creamy notes.

Brut Nature Gran Reserva, third year of aging, a traditional blend of Macabeo, Xarel·lo and Parellada. Perfect from the beginning to the end of the meal!

Gastronomy: Intense yellow, a fine constant bubble with a good carbonic integration. Good fruity mid palate with slight final bitter tips. Very balanced and elegant.

Varietals: 30% Macabeu 60% Xarel·lo 10% Parellada

Gran Reserva made from flower must of the traditional varieties Macabeu, Parellada and predominantly Xarel·lo. The crown jewel!

Gastronomy: Golden yellow, clean and bright, with a fine bubble that forms a constant rosary and a marked crown. Intense aromas of long aging, notes of brioche and hot bread. Clean and clear mid palate, good acidity, well-integrated alcohols with fruity notes of apple and melon with a long and persistent finish.
