Solera Bodegas is a family business that has been making traditional and craft wines for nearly two centuries, producing Spanish wines with excellent character, quality and personality.
Inside the winery one will find the antique clay amphorae, where wines have been aged for more than 200 years alongside the stainless steel tanks also used for modern day wine production. Throughout the winery, you will still find farming tools that have been used for several generations.
The Bodega Solera is unique for its timelessness. Making your way to the cellar, one will find a path lined with fig trees, pine trees, and quinces that perfume your passage. This is a winery where tradition for working the land is everpresent.
All the grapes used in the winery come from estate vineyards, meticulously cared for during the entire year to ensure a high quality organic product. Spanning 17 hectares, the grape varieties grown include Tempranillo and Syrah for red wines, and Malvar for the white wines.
The oldest vineyard plots at the winery date back to 1915 and 1925, and produce truly exceptional and unique wines.
