Pol Auguste Couronne was born in Hautvillers, cradle village of champagne and Dom Pérignon, on October 22, 1862. In this place steeped in history and conducive to inspiration and creation, Pol Couronne created his brand of champagne and produced confidential champagnes from 1887.

The Champagne region is imbued with a strong identity, marked by the specificities of its soils and grape varieties, as well as by its climatic conditions under oceanic and continental influences.

It is this complexity that the Pol Couronne house makes a point of honor to find in its wines in order to best represent the region through a delicate blend of quality grape varieties such as Chardonnay (from excellent terroirs, some of which are classified. in Grand Cru like Avize), Pinot Noir (mainly those of Ambonnay and Bouzy for our Grand Cru cuvées) and Pinot Meunier (mainly from the Marne Valley)
