Chateau de Rozier St Emilion Grand Cru 2016
Famille Saby80% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Franc, 2% Cabernet Sauvignon.
We have a passion for Bordeaux wines and our goal is always to find the best one for the best price. Of course we could go off the deep end and offer $500 (or more) Bordeaux wines, but that is not what most people need. Here you have a very pleasurable wine, deep purple color, a great freshness associated with red and black fruits, with a woody and slight vanilla edge. The tannin gives it a fleshy, smooth and delicious yet elegant taste. A great example of getting good value for a good price.

The Saby family has been making wine in Bordeaux for nine uninterrupted generations now, led by heirs to the family passion Jean-Christophe and Jean-Phillippe. Their winery holdings, centered around Libourne, are comprised of 70 hectares and include Château Rozier (Saint Emilion Grand Cru), Château Bertin (Montagne-Saint-Emilion), and Château Hauchat (Fronsac). Saby wines receive regular buzz for good reason – These are rich, balanced examples of high level Bordeaux.
