Robert Parker calls this a "killer value" and we totally agree. "Breca" is 100% Garnacha, coming from vineyards that are located in the highest hills between the mountains of Sierra de Pardos and Sierra de Solorios, near Munébrega, 950-1000 meters above sea level. The average age of these vineyards is 80-120 years. Traditional fermentation in stainless steel tanks, 10 to 12 days of maceration at a temperature of 26-28°C, followed by 21 months aging in French oak barrels.
Deep cherry colored, this wine will shock you with the incredible aroma of fruit and oak. From the aroma alone you'd think this was 3 times the price. On the palate meaty, roasted, very complex ... very long finish.
